
Nurse Teresa, MSc, BSc (Hons), INP, QN, is a distinguished multi-award winning Advanced Nurse Practitioner and the founder and clinical director of Tan&Co®. With more than 18 years of experience spanning dermatology, cardiovascular health, women's health and aesthetic medicine, Teresa O'Nwere-Tan is an award-winning Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Independent Prescriber and the founder of Tan&Co®, a London clinic dedicated to evidence-based skin health and regenerative aesthetics.
Teresa is passionate about helping patients achieve healthier skin through a personalised, medical approach that looks beyond surface concerns. Her specialist interests include acne, hyperpigmentation across all Fitzpatrick skin types, rosacea, skin rejuvenation and regenerative treatments, combining advanced technologies with treatment plans tailored to each individual's skin, lifestyle and long-term goals.
Drawing inspiration from her Japanese and Nigerian heritage, Teresa has developed a distinctive philosophy that blends the preventative principles of Japanese skincare with advances in regenerative aesthetics and extensive expertise in treating diverse skin tones. Her approach focuses not simply on improving how skin looks, but on understanding why it behaves the way it does.
After graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Adult Nursing from City St George's, University of London, Teresa went on to complete a Master's in Advanced Clinical Practice, with aesthetics learning from esteemed Harley Academy and a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine through the JCCP-recognised award-winning Interface Aesthetics.
Her commitment to clinical excellence has earned her recognition as a Queen's Nurse, while her dedication to patient care saw her named Nursing Times Nurse of the Year 2025. She also serves as a judge for both the Aesthetic Awards and The Grocer Gold Awards, reflecting her respected position within the profession.
Tan&Co® has also been recognised nationally, winning Best Non-Surgical Aesthetic Skin Rejuvenation Clinic in London at the GHP Global Excellence Awards in both 2025 and 2026.
